Rachel Valentyne is based in Southern Tasmania. Originally from Victoria, she has worked in a variety of event management roles geared towards community engagement, primarily in regional/remote areas. Rachel lives were her husband, two children, a dog and many chooks in the sleepy coastal town of Verona Sands.

Currently, she is a festival organiser, marriage and funeral celebrant, and has recently embarked on her path as an end-of-life doula, having completed her certificate with Annie.

Rachel passionately supports the home funeral movement in Australia, envisioning a future where it becomes a widely accessible and embraced choice for end-of-life arrangements.
